Duchess exists to support and promote women in the Java (and in general, IT) industry. Your contribution will help us reach out to existing female Java professionals as well as help girls and young women to pursue a career in IT.

Partnership
Many thanks to our existing sponsors who generously paid for dinner and provided excellent speakers and locations for our past events. However, as we grow, we have found it necessary to revise our sponsoring model so that we can better organize ourselves to serve our members.
The following is our new sponsoring model (effective for 2009):
Bronze Partner: € 250 – 499
Silver Partner: € 500 – 999
Gold Partner: € 1000 – 1499
Platinum Partner: > € 1500

In addition to your logo and link on our sponsors page, companies that sponsor us according to our new sponsoring model will be prominently displayed on our home page on the right sidebar. This shows the Java community that you are committed to unifying and improving the industry by promoting gender diversity.
In addition, we are committed to working closely with our sponsors so that we may both benefit from the partnership. Therefore, event announcements, job offers, and the like from our sponsors are possibilities on our site where you will be able to reach our growing membership.
Our current focus is to increase our presence (and the visibility of women) in the Java community. This includes plans to design and sell t-shirts, print flyers to hand out at conferences, schools, etc. If you sponsor us specifically to print these materials, your logo will be printed on them along with ours.
