As a Java developer working on web applications, you’ve probably heard about the latest kid on the block from the Apache community: Apache Wicket.
With proper mark-up/logic separation, a POJO data model, and a refreshing lack of XML, Apache Wicket makes developing web-apps simple and enjoyable again. Swap the boilerplate, complex debugging and brittle code for powerful, reusable components written with plain Java and HTML.
You are invited to join us at the second Amsterdam Wicket meetup.
The meetup is in an informal setting, with over 30 attendees already, and will give you some fast-paced insight in what Wicket exactly is and how to use it.
Topics include: “Wicket versus the rest”, “Integrating Open ID with Wicket” and “What is going into Wicket 2.0″
When: Tuesday, April 8, 15:00-21:00
