hi Ola,

Thanks for your feedback.

It would be great if you would write an article about the book on how to deal with 'the man'. In fact, if you have tips and links about parenting and motivating girls in technology and science, you can write an article on that too.

About mothers going back to work after maternity leave, a number of our members have experience with this. Perhaps we can get some tips going in this area.

Looking forward to seeing your articles,
Clara

I have mentioned about parents role, I am very interested in child development, and learning methods even for infants. I have also 2 years old daughter that already can play her first computer games and lot of inernet-friends mothers that I am connected and exchange informationa bout our children development. I have based my knowledge on Motessori, Doman, Suzuki and other ideas that points to possibilities that child has when is still small. I was thinking about some articles in parents web-pages/magasines that will try to explain that girls have the same right to be technically/IT/... educated as boys. Buy a car/robot/lego instead of next doll/washmashine... for your doughter. I can write/talk about this topic whole day. If we as Duchess are interested in action directed to parents I can give my time and enthusiasm.

I also agree with confidence as a key issue. Last time I have read a very good book (unfortunatelly available only in Polish) with advises how to deal with 'the man', and that helps a lot with my every day male-anviroment jungle. If it sounds interesting I can write short article about that.

There is also one issue I wanted to comment about IT mothers and mith that child will stop your careere. Pregnancy, maternity leave make women even less confident and getting some of them back to work can be very difficoult. I am sure that we don't have to choose careere or child because it is possible to have it both. I think all mothers that sit at home with children could have some activities that make them IT-alive and speed up their comming back to work. Next interesting topic for me.
