Duchess Agile Event
10 November 2008 in duchess events, events by Clara Ko
We are proud to announce our next event – Introduction to Agile – by Michael Franken, agile coach in the Netherlands and founder of AgileHolland.
Agile is a way of working that focuses on communication, teamwork, and delivering business value with quality software in a cost effective and timely manner. The work is done by self-organizing teams with a leadership focused on facilitating and inspiring.
We will first go through an introduction to agile and then play the Planning Poker Game – an effective way to teach the ideas of teamwork, business value, feedback, and improvement.
Entry fee: voluntary € 15
Although we announced that we would charge € 15 per person per event in the last newsletter, we forgot to add it to this event page. So for this once, the € 15 is voluntary.

Hi CafeSwa,
We had two events in Rotterdam before at the Ijsberg office but because they moved, it is not available anymore. If you can convince for your employer to sponsor us for location for our events, that would be great. The location for the coming event in Utrecht is also sponsored through a member’s employer at iProfs.
Hope to see you at a future event soon!
Clara
I think something’s not quite right with the event registration. Under some events I’m seeing ‘Array Array’ listed as a member. (Sometimes even several times, like here.)
fixed
There will be 2 additional ladies there that are not yet members.
Cool! The more the merrier!
So, who’s going to write a recap? I’m planning on doing one from a ‘member of the board/organization’ perspective, but I’d love to see one or two from our members too! (And feel free to channel your guest as well!)
